Guided-Mode Resonances in Surface Plasmonic Waveguides

Abstract

Guided-mode resonances in single- and double-layer thin metal films with periodic slits have been investigated theoretically. The excitation of the surface plasmons (SPs) and resonance tuning through SP mode coupling are presented.
