Abstract

We propose a new technique exploiting the Hartmann-Shack wavefront sensor as a tool for nonlinear optical characterization. Unlike the conventional Z-scan method, the presented technique is not so sensitive to misalignment, linear scattering, sample imperfections, and intensity fluctuations during the measurement.
