High Temperature Stable Fiber Bragg Gratings in hydrogen loaded all-silica core Fiber

Abstract

High temperature stable fiber Bragg gratings are demonstrated in fluorine doped all-silica core fiber. The grating morphology suggests that the presence of hydrogen reduces the threshold of Type II damage.
