Incoherently combining logarithmic aspheres for extended depth of field

Abstract

Images from concentric logarithmic lenses are combined incoherently to extend the depth of field as much as 14 times the Rayleigh limit for a conventional lens. Diffraction limited resolution is also obtained after digital processing.
