An efficient, optical fiber-based waveguide interface to a single quantum dipole

Abstract

We theoretically investigate a single emitter embedded in an optical waveguide providing highly efficient, optical fiber access to the dipole. Photoluminescence collection above 70 % and 15 dB transmission contrast upon resonant excitation are predicted.
