Solitary Wave Solutions for Ultrashort Optical Pulses

Abstract

We consider the propagation of ultrashort optical pulses in nonlinear dispersive media without using slow envelope approximations. Shortest and most intense pulses propagating in a stationary manner are found as well as classical envelope solitons.
