Characterization of Composite Er:YAG Ceramic Laser Gain Materials

Abstract

We produced composite Er:YAG ceramic laser gain materials. We will present an overview of the processing of these materials, and materials characterization results, including Er distribution analysis, bulk optical property measurements and laser testing.
