Abstract

We present a wide-field spectral imaging modality called modulated imaging (MI) that shows great promise for quantitatively imaging superficial (1-5 mm depth) tissues. We have applied this method to an animal skin flap model to determine in-vivo local concentrations of oxy- and deoxy-hemoglobin and water.
