Integrated High Speed Tunable Filter based on Super Compact Grating

Abstract

We present an integrated high-speed tunable filter based on super compact grating on InP platform. The fabricated 4-channels filter demonstrates less than 500 nanosecond tuning speed with 200GHz pass band and ~3mm2 chip size.
