Integrated-Fiber-Probe for All Optical 3D Trapping and Manipulation

Abstract

A new approach to purely-optical fiber 3D-trapping is proposed. The configuration, exploiting total-internal-reflection, is highly promising because it allows particles trapping, manipulation and analysis. Its efficiency is demonstrated by numerical simulations.
