Low-Density Permutation Codes for Optical and Digital Holographic Data Storage

Abstract

We present a new class of modulation codes based on permutation coding which satisfy the channel coding constraint suitable for holographic and optical data storage, and simultaneously have strong error correction capability and high code rate efficiency.
