Fourier Phase Contrast Microscope

Abstract

Novel Fourier phase contrast microscope is developed exploiting monochromaticity, intensity and phase coherence of laser and photo-induced birefringence of liquid crystals. As condenser annulus - phase plate is not required the images are free from artifacts.
