Abstract

Using techniques in LC circuit filters, a systematic method for the design of flat-band finite-size coupled-resonator-optical-waveguides (CROWs) are developed. Based on this theory, finite-size CROWs with flat-band spectrum on silicon-on-insulator platform are fabricated and demonstrated.
