Coupled Resonances to Increase Bandwidths of Metamaterial Antennas

Abstract

Metamaterial or plasmonic nano-particles employed as scatterers may represent new elements for nanoantenna devices. We explore how coupling closely packed plasmonic nanoparticles may provide an increase in the bandwidth of such radiators.
