A Volume-Grating Stokesmeter Based on Photonic Band Gap Structures

Abstract

We show polarization-dependent band-gap in a photonic-crystal composed of six rows of 4mm diameter Pyrex rods on a 9mm square lattice using FDTD, and describe how such a structure can be used as a Stokesmeter.
