Phase-stable and Broadly Tunable CW Terahertz Radiation

Abstract

We lock two diode lasers to the stabilized frequency comb of a Titanium:Sapphire laser and generate phase-locked CW terahertz radiation with an optical heterodyne photomixer. We present the scaling of the noise with terahertz frequency.
