Theoretical and Experimental Dynamics of Nonlinear and Dispersion Managed Solitons in an Ultrashort Pulsed Laser

Abstract

We study, for an ultrashort laser, the scaling of the fundamental parameters of energy and temporal duration under the condition of varying the average cavity dispersion. Remarkable agreement is observed between theory and experiment.
