Ion energy distributions from laser-induced hydrogen cluster explosions

Abstract

Ion energies from laser-induced explosions of hydrogen clusters which are partially stripped of electrons exhibit strong anisotropy and pulse duration dependence interpreted using the cluster model of Breizman et al. [Phys. Plasmas 12, 056706 (2005)].
