Quantitative Recovery of Tissue Optical Properties in the Spatial Frequency Domain Using Modulated Imaging

Abstract

We demonstrate the ability of Modulated Imaging to linearly and accurately recover absorption and scattering optical properties from experiments on homogeneous turbid phantoms. Examples of in-vivo property mapping on human skin and rodent cortex are also presented.
