Ultrafast Optical Processes in Carbon Nanotubes

Abstract

We report results of ultrafast optical studies of single-walled carbon nanotubes. We identify intraband (<1.2 ps) and interband (> 50 ps) dynamics and show that excitons in nanotubes are highly stable against the Mott transition.
