Optical pump -- THz probe measurements in chemistry

Abstract

Optical pump - THz probe spectroscopy has been used to characterize the collective solvent dynamics of chloroform when a dissolved dye molecule is photoexcited, and transient photoconductivity in CdSe quantum dots. If time permits, I may also describe THz emission experiments of intramolecular electron transfer in oriented dye molecules. Full-text article is not available.
