Abstract

The design and fabrication of a holographic gra ting of linearly variable frequency of 50 l/mm to 100 l/mm over length of 75 mm has been described. An application of this variable frequency grating as a lateral-shear interferometer having variable shear for testing of lenses/concave mirrors is suggested.
