Abstract
The imaging speed of conventional OCT is limited to a few hundred A-scans/s. We report on two new OCT techniques based on transverse scanning and on spectral interferometry that overcome these limitations, allowing to record retinal images with ultrahigh speed and to acquire 3D data sets within ~ 1 sec.
