Designing the Imaging Systems in Interferometers

Abstract

An interferometer’s imaging system must image the test part onto the detector and produce the correct interferogram. Reducing the intertwined relationships between the parameters of the test optic, imaging lens, and detector down to a manageable set of criteria is crucial to a successful design.
