Hybrid optical encryption of a three-dimensional object by use of digital holography

Abstract

An encryption method of a 3D object based on phase modulation of an object beam is presented. The phase of the object beam is modulated by a virtual optical random phase mask with a digital holographic technique. Experimental results are presented to confirm our proposed method.
