Abstract

We present our latest research on lightweight space mirror technology. Unlike conventional monolithic mirrors, our mirror design uses a thin, flexible glass substrate for the optical surface and an actuated lightweight structure to maintain surface accuracy. We discuss our current research topics: metrology, gravity self-weight calculations, and system design.
