Nano-modulated electron beams via electron diffraction for coherent x-ray generation

Abstract

A new method for generation of relativistic electron beams with current modulation on the nanometer scale will be presented in addition to its use for coherent x-ray generation, performance parameters and ongoing preliminary experiments.
