Progress in Wide Area Methane Mapping for Application in the Energy Sector

Abstract

We report on advances in airborne differential absorption LIDAR that enable remote sensing of methane at spatial scales relevant to the energy sector. These observations bridge the gap between in situ and satellite observations.
