Phase imaging based on transport of intensity equation using liquid crystal variable waveplate

Abstract

A non-interferometric phase imaging using liquid crystal variable waveplate is demonstrated that uses the concept of modified transport of intensity equation. Refractive index is modulated through the variable waveplate.
