Abstract

Generally, the resolution of reconstructed 3D images can be seriously degraded by undesired occlusions in synthetic aperture integral imaging (SAII). To solve the problem of occlusions, we present an occlusion removal based on epipolar plane images (EPIs) restoration in SAII. The preliminary experiments are presented to verify the feasibility of the proposed system.
