Hyperuniform Disordered Polarisers for the Mid-Infrared

Abstract

We report on the design, fabrication and characterisation of silicon-on-insulator hyperuniform disordered polarisers at mid-infrared wavelengths. Small device footprint and large operational bandwidth revealed great potential of hyperuniform disordered platform for integrated photonics.
