Temporal Tweezing of Polarization Domain Walls in a Fiber Kerr Resonator

Abstract

We report the experimental demonstration of temporal trapping of polarization domain walls (PDWs) stored in a fiber Kerr resonator. The PDWs are trapped into specific time slots through a phase-modulation scheme of the holding beam.
