Strong coupling of Excitons in WS2 with Fano Resonances in Photonic Crystals

Abstract

We report strong coupling between excitons in monolayer WS2 and Fano resonances in a dielectric photonic crystal. This gives rise to a Rabi splitting of ~25 meV at room temperature in an open cavity geometry.
