Beam Pattern Projecting On-Chip Lasers at Visible Wavelength

Abstract

We have successfully demonstrated pattern projecting semiconductor lasers at the red wavelength, for the first time. The two-dimensional pattern was directly emitted on the screen, at the red wavelength, without any lens or scanning system.
