Achieving Off-Axis Holographic Projections with Uniform Illumination by 3D Printing Blazed Facets on Phase Elements

Abstract

A new design of diffractive optical elements with blazed facets is fabricated using 3D printing to obtain off-axis holograms with uniform illumination. Experimental holograms without zero order spot are achieved, fit well with diffraction theory.
