Dispersion-engineered metasurfaces for aberration-corrected spectroscopy

Abstract

We report a miniature aberration-corrected spectrometer comprised of dispersion-engineered off-axis metasurface lenses. It possesses close to diffraction-limited spot sizes across 200 nm in the visible and has nanometer spectral resolution, despite a 4cm beam-propagation distance.
