Beam Shaping with Axicons for Low Loss Microscopy Optics

Abstract

We propose a beam shaping method using two axicons for reducing optical loss in broadband microscopy optics. We demonstrate high transmittance and high spatial resolution without sacrificing signal intensity in stimulated Raman scattering microscopy.
