Using Dynamic Plasmonic Colors for Optical Cryptography

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate an all-aluminum metasurface that generates tunable plasmonic colors depending on the polarization states of the incident and reflected light. The metasurface produces high-resolution images and can be used to encrypt arbitrary information.
