Operating an optical frequency comb using a 5-W handheld USB charger

Abstract

We present a 100-MHz frequency comb that can be fully stabilized using less than 5 W of electrical power. We demonstrate full repetition-rate and offset-frequency stabilization while powering the comb with a handheld USB charger.
