Harmonic SNAP Bottle Microresonators Produced via Tapering of Optical Fibers

Abstract

We demonstrate fabrication of SNAP microresonators with parabolic profiles via fiber tapering with a laser-heated microfurnace. The developed method enables simple and convenient fabrication of prospective frequency comb generators and miniature dispersionless SNAP delay lines.
