A High Performance Clock Laser for Two-Photon Frequency Stabilized Optical Clocks

Abstract

We describe a simple high-performance all-fiber atomic-line clock laser constructed from commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components. This laser, based on a frequency-doubled telecom laser, has significantly lower frequency noise compared to direct diode lasers.
