Harmonic Generation In Cascaded Raman Fiber Lasers

Not Accessible

Abstract

We report the surprising observation of visible harmonics in an infrared cascaded Raman fiber laser. A transition from 2nd to 3rd harmonic is seen with increasing locally propagating wavelengths, which we attribute to Cherenkov-type phase-matching.
