Modelling Directly Reflectivity Modulated Lasers

Abstract

We present numerical modelling of the static and dynamic performance of directly reflectivity modulated silicon-III/V hybrid laser. 40Gbit/s eye diagrams of binary phase-shift keying and on-off keying signals directly generated by a laser are numerically predicted.
