Realization of optical isolator at room temperature in miniaturized vapor cell using light induced atomic desorption

Abstract

A compact, on-chip atomic optical isolator using light induced atomic desorption technique is demonstrated. A millimeter size fabricated vapor cell integrated with small permanent magnets of ≈ 300 Gauss are used to realize an atomic optical isolator at room temperature.
