Abstract

We report ultrafast nanoscale magnetic microscopy using high-harmonic radiation, reaching 19 nm spatial resolution. The femtosecond-scale demagnetization of worm-like magnetic domains in Co/Pd multilayers is quantitatively mapped with 50-fs temporal resolution.
