Experimental Demonstration of 2D PT-Symmetric Graphene: Bulk Properties and Edge States

Abstract

We report the first realization of a two-dimensional PT-symmetric crystalline structure, based on a novel isotropic loss mechanism. By probing bulk and edge properties, we shed new light on the interplay between PT-symmetry and topology.
