Plasmonic photo-thermo-electric effect in graphene

Abstract

We present a novel photo-thermo-electric effect in graphene photo-detectors established by hot electrons concentration gradients at plasmonic contacts. Our description is crucial for an in depth understanding of graphene-based photodetection devices.
