Variational Quantum Unsampling on a Programmable Nanophotonic Processor

Abstract

We introduce the Variational Quantum Unsampling (VQU) protocol, a nonlinear quantum neural network approach for verification and inference of near-term quantum circuits outputs. We experimentally demonstrate this protocol on a quantum photonic processor.
