Energy Transmission Efficiency of Laser-induced Vortical Filaments

Abstract

We performed characterization and energy transmission measurements of both ordinary and vortical ultrafast filament structures in air. The results appear to stand in favor of the reduced ionization losses in the case of vortical filaments.
