Optical Information Processing with Noise-Resistant Entangled Topological States

Abstract

Linear-optical photonic quantum walks are used to jointly entangle polarization and winding number. This joint entanglement allows polarization entanglement-based quantum information processing tasks to be performed with high degree or error protection.
